It was early May, and spring had finally embraced even the remote taiga of Finland. Nature was waking up in full bloom—when, suddenly, it started to snow. The soft flakes began to dance among the trees, and as if the scene wasn’t magical enough already, a wolf appeared. He was in a playful mood, chasing ravens through the forest, almost like a pup rediscovering joy. Then, for a brief, surreal moment, he spotted a bird high up on a branch and leapt into the air as if he too could fly. That was the moment I pressed the shutter.
