Antonio Denti – IT

Antonio Denti is an Italian cameraman and photographer. A Reuters staff video journalist for over two decades, he has covered conflict and crisis in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, Gaza, Tunisia, the epic human migration across the Mediterranean, the 2004 tsunami in Banda Aceh, and the 2023 earthquake in Turkey.
His work has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Royal Television Society (RTS) Journalism Award for Camera Operator of the Year in 2018. His personal photography projects have received awards from POYI (Pictures of the Year International), LensCulture, Head On Exposure, IPPAWARDS, All About Photo, Feature Shoot Emerging Photography Awards, IPA, Lucie, PX3, Urban Photo Awards and others.
Across both news and personal work, Denti’s images document turbulent chapters of human history with a rare combination of journalistic rigor and deeply human, poetic vision – a perspective that defines his winning series in the Global Lens Photography Awards.
