Having to cope with some of the harshest conditions on the planet, winter in North Iceland is all about survival for the Arctic Fox as temperatures plummet to -40C and below and snow storms bite. Brown-blue and white morph foxes defend their territories, to the death if necessary, as they scavenge for food on the shorelines and mountains of Hornstrandir. Their resilience and courage knows no bounds as they walk miles every day not knowing what they will find, what dangers they will encounter and what their next meal will be. They are the ultimate Arctic Survivors.
