It was my dream trip that I highly desired and planned for long. New Zealand is a country with such a wonderful landscapes and night sky in the southern hemisphere. The area around Mount Cook is a perfect spot for night photography since it’s considered as a pure star light reserve. I climbed to the top of the rock with a nice view towards Tasman lake with its beautiful floating ice all the way down to the Tasman River Valley. In the end of June the evening Milky Way Arch looked even more round. The red airglow was so intense forming nice pattern under the arch making the night unforgettable.
