On a chilly winter evening, while photographing a nightjar, my eyes caught a chameleon moving gracefully on an Indian Gum Arabic tree. I first clicked its portraits, then experimented by placing the light behind it, creating a glowing silhouette, as if walking on an illuminated path. Suddenly, a spider descended onto its crest. In that fleeting moment, the backlight transformed the scene into a surreal vision—a tiny explorer treading across a fantastical landscape shaped by light and shadow.
